Refund policy
At Catering Taps, we aim to provide high-quality catering equipment for commercial use. Please read our returns and cancellation terms carefully before placing your order.
Order Cancellations
- Orders can be cancelled if you change your mind; however, a 25% restocking fee of the invoice value applies.
- If your order has already been despatched from our warehouse, the returns policy below will apply, and the 25% restocking fee will still be charged.
Returns
We sell to both business customers and private consumers. The returns process differs slightly depending on who you are:
Business Customers (B2B)
- All transactions are considered business-to-business unless purchased by an individual consumer.
- We offer a 7-day returns window from the date of delivery.
- A 25% restocking fee applies to all returns.
- Goods must be returned in an unused, undamaged condition in the original packaging at the buyer’s expense.
Consumer Customers (B2C)
- If you are a private individual purchasing for personal use, you are covered by the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013.
- Consumers have the right to cancel an order within 14 days of receiving the goods.
- A refund will be issued for the product(s) returned in unused, undamaged condition and in their original packaging.
- Consumers are responsible for return shipping costs, unless the goods are faulty or were delivered in error.
- Please note: certain products cannot be returned once unsealed due to health and hygiene reasons.
Refunds
- Refunds are processed once goods have been received and inspected.
- Business refunds will be made minus the 25% restocking fee.
- Consumer refunds will cover the full product value (excluding delivery costs, unless goods were faulty or sent in error).
Warranty (applies to both B2B & B2C)
- All products are supplied with a 12-month parts-only warranty.
- We may at our discretion repair, replace, or refund faulty goods.
- The warranty is void if goods are repaired or altered without written consent.
- This warranty does not cover consequential losses (e.g. loss of profit).
